 Medicam’s Chief Executive - Mr. Hemant M. Palande is an eminent entrepreneur who has also entered in couple of other businesses in the last decade that are currently running successfully. Mr. Hemant Palande started his business career in 1991 at a very young age. In 1999 while dealing in CCTV equipments, he started assembling medical cameras. In 2001 the brand Medicam was launched for Medical Cameras and from then he has never looked back.
Mr. Hemant Palande is a pioneer and revolutionary in bringing down the costs of Medical [Intra-Oral]cameras substantially as against the complex & imported expensive camera equipments [Intra-Oral] which do not offer user-friendly features and warranty like Medicam camera systems do. Every year the product range is increasing and so is the number of customers. In last Eight years, almost 9 products have been introduced. Some of these products are developed here and the rest are fully imported. Medicam has tied up with companies from Far-east countries for product and technology procurement. Mr. Palande often visits these countries to find new innovative products and to form strategic tie-ups.
 Mr. Hemant Palande is a graduate from Mumbai [Bombay] University. He is an ‘Udyogshree’ award winner for his achievements in business. This award is presented every year for showing ‘outstanding excellence in business’. This award was presented to him in a felicitation ceremony held at Maharashtra Chamber of Commerce’s auditorium. He was the youngest person to receive this award. Leading news papers like Maharashtra Times, Loksatta, Lokmat etc., have appreciated Mr. Hemant Palande’s vision and efforts through articles on him in their respective newspapers. All these newspapers are leading dailies in Mumbai & Maharashtra.
Medicam also has ISO 9001:2008 certification. Medicam may be the first Intra Oral Camera MFG/Assembling Company in India awarded with ISO 9001:2008 certification. |
